Pauline Boucher Landry, 87, of Springvale, died on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.Pauline was born in Biddeford on April 15, 1929, one of 10 children born to Louis and Ernestine Boucher. She was raised in Limerick where she attended local schools. Pauline developed many skills in sewing, upholstery and knitting crafts. She was known as a very talented seamstress that always had a project and many times she helped friends, family and clergy with alterations. She was a devoted Catholic with a deep faith in God. Her work included mills in Limerick, Goodall Mills, Aletta Dress and Cole Hann. She also worked with her sister Lorraine at State Interiors and they made beautiful custom cushions for the Wicker Shop. Pauline deeply loved her family and friends and accepted all in her heart.Pauline was predeceased by her parents; her first husband Gerard Paradis in 1965; her second husband Andre Auger in 1997 and by eight siblings, Lucy Nolette, Lucien Boucher, Yvette Roy, Janette Boucher, Robert Boucher, Armand Boucher, Lorraine Proto and Maurice Boucher.Surviving are her husband Roland Landry; two sons, Norman Paradis and his partner Claire and Leo Paradis and his wife Debra; a grandson, Marcel Paradis and his wife Crystal; a brother, Roger Boucher and his wife Norma and many special step-children, nieces, nephews and a large extended family that includes the Boucher, Paradis, Auger and Landry families.The family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful, caring and compassionate staffs at the Lodges Care Center and Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford for the kindness shown to Pauline and her family during her period of declining health.Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, August 19th at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home located at 580 Main Street in Springvale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 20th at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church located on North Avenue in Sanford.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
