Kathleen Kreinest

Kathleen S. Kreinest, 79, formerly of Old Orchard Beach and a longtime resident of Sanford, died January 17 at the Palmer Health Care Facility in Palmer, MA after a long illness.She was born in Sanford on March 23, 1927, a daughter of Alfred and Sarah (Lessard) Jacobs, attended local schools and was a graduate of Sanford High School.After raising her family, she worked in furniture sales in Texas, North Carolina and Massachusetts.While a resident of Old Orchard Beach, she was a communicant of St. Margaret's Church.Survivors include 2 sons, William Hayes and his wife Sheila of Shapleigh, John Kreinest and his wife Jeri of Longmeadow, MA, 2 daughters, Julia Fullwood of Springfield, MA, Nancy M. Kreinest and her companion Kenneth Gray of Boston, MA, a sister, Elizabeth Reynolds of Belfast, 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.An hour of visitation will be on Saturday at 12 noon at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale where a memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM. A reception will be held immediately after at The Family Center, 574 Main Street, Springvale.
