Margaret Knight

Margaret J. Knight, 73, of Waterboro, passed away on Thursday August 18, 2011 at the Kennebunk Nursing and Rehabilitation Home. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 10, 1938, a daughter of the late Edward and Muriel (Gasaway) Rohlfes.On June 13, 1964 she married Henry Knight in Connecticut and together they shared 47 beautiful years. Her family described her as a colorful person, straight forward in her remarks, honest and a great personality. A family orientated person, she loved her family.In earlier years she had been employed as a CNA, had worked at the former leather mill and the bean factory in Waterboro. She loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. Her love for animals was included her pride and joy, "Buddy" her Chihuahua.She is predeceased by her parents, as well as one son, Mark Kibbie.She is survived by her husband, Henry Knight, her children, William H. Knight Sr., of Sanford, Kristine Bailey of Milo, James Knight of Sanford and Timothy Knight of Biddeford, her twin sister, Joan Hurckes of Chicago, 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.A Graveside service for Mrs. Knight will take place on Wednesday, August 24 at 2pm at the Pine Grove South Cemetery in Waterboro.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfunearlhomes.com
