Vivianne Kepka

Vivianne Kepka 85 a long time resident of Sanford and most recently Monroe, Ct., died Friday February 9, 2007 at St. Joseph Manor in Trumbull Ct., following a brief illness. She was born in Sanford , February 20, 1921 a daughter of Joseph & Mary Jane (Desharnais) LaChance. She was educated at the former St. Ignatius school. She was employed at the International House of Pancakes in South Portland as the dining room manager for her late brother Leo Paul LaChance and later for her niece Denise Lamontagne. She retired from there with over twenty years of service. Her husband Joseph died in 2002.Survivors are her daughter, Angela Barius and her husband Edward of Monroe, CT, her sister, Aline Normandeau and her husband Raymond of Shapleigh, and her grandchildren, Christian Barius of Baltimore, MD, & Justin Barius of Charlotte, NC. A funeral mass and will be conducted in the spring at St. Therse of Lesieux Parish , Holy Family Church and burial in St. Ignatius cemetery.
