John C. Hudgins

John C. Hudgins, 43, of Sanford, passed away at his home on Tuesday July 31, 2018. He was born in Newport News, Virginia on October 28, 1974 a son of William and Susan (Pierce) Hudgins.John loved life. He loved being part of a large family. John made friends easily. He had a jovial personality. John could talk for hours and loved being around people. In his own words "he was a collector of memories". John had been working as a carpenter for over 20 years. He owned his own small construction company, Hudgins Construction. He was very proud of his workmanship. John will be greatly missed and loved by everyone. He had a beautiful soul and was a true friend to those lucky enough to have met him. To his wife, Tange he was the best man and love of her life. There will never be another like him. His fire burned bright and he is now at peace.John is now with his beloved sister who predeceased him, Tracy Lynn O'Connor who passed in 2002.John is survived by his wife, Tange Hudgins, daughter, Carma Brooks, his mother, Susan Pierce, grandmother, Eloise Pierce, aunts, Pamela Pierce, Yvette Duhamel and her husband, Bill, uncles, Edward Pierce and his wife, Diane, Stanley Pierce, special cousin, Stephen White and his wife, Misty, cousin, April Franzen as well as many other family and friends as well as his mother in law, Pam Chamber.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Homes, 580 Main Street, Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
