Anne M. Hollis

On the night of March 13 2019 another angel gained her wings. Anne Hollis was born November19 1941 in Biddeford Maine.Anne grew up in Maine and had four of her own beautiful children .Kathy Salvas , Roger Lanoie,Edna Mcnally all in Maine and Scott Lanoie in Kentucky. Anne worked at Pratt and Whitney for many of years until she retired. Anne had alot of hobbies her biggest one was shopping, always buying over stock in toys for the less fortunate family's in Maine. She wore her heart on her sleeve.She also loved to bake. Nothing was better than her maple walnut cake. She also enjoyed painting and driving with the windows down and Shannia Ttwain flowing out of the speakers singing and smiling.As she slowed down her hobbies changed and she began to knit, which with a huge heart donated the blankets to a childrens hospital.Anne had a laugh to remember and a silly way about her that just made her who she was. Anne was married to Barry L Hollis for 30 years. He treated her like the diva and queen she was.Her living family is her husband Barry Hollis, daughter Kathy and her husband Paul Salvas,grandson Aaron Brown, daughter Edna and husband Francis Mcnally, grandchildren Jessica Nichols, Paul Leighton and Lisamarie Leighton, son Roger Lanoie and wife Vanessa, grandchildren Kenny Lanoie, Roger Lanoie Jr., Kaylina Gary Lanoie, son Scott Lanoie and his wife and children.She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren who she loved to spoil.Also an ex son in law Forrest Leighton who even after seperated from the family he remained close to Anne and BarryAnne was met at the heavenly gates by her parents Eleanor and Ronald Foran, sister Sam ,brothers Bobby and Billy. Surviving siblings are her brothers Junior in Connecticut and Paul Foran in Maine, her sister Rita Benette in Florida.
