Gloria M. Hickey

Gloria Millman Hickey, 91, of Sanford, died November 11 at the Sanford campus of Southern Maine Health Care.She was born in Acton on July 25, 1923, the daughter of Charles E. and Ruth Butler (Day) Millman and attended Sanford schools.Gloria worked as a secretary at the former Goodall-Sanford Textile Mills and then worked as the executive secretary for the Stenton Trust in Sanford, from where she retired many years ago.Gloria was a longtime member of the North Parish Congregational Church in Sanford, and with her husband Patrick W. Hickey was a longtime member of the South Congregational Church in Kennebunkport.She was predeceased by her husband in 2006 and by their twin sons, Patrick and Michael.A funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 2:00 PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
