Charles D. "Charlie" Hatch, Jr., 69, of Lebanon, died July 11 at home surrounded by his family after a brief illness.He was born in Manchester, NH on November 22, 1942, the son of Charles D. and Gladys (Kurtz) Hatch, Sr. and was a 1960 graduate of Dover High School.He was employed for 33 years at Spaulding Fiber in Gonic, NH, retiring in 2008.For many years, Charlie worked as a volunteer for the Lebanon Little League, serving as its president for several years.He was predeceased by his parents, and a stepson Tim Turner.Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Margaret (Vachon) Hatch of Lebanon, son Scott Hatch and his wife Brandi of Buxton, a daughter April Thompson of New Gloucester, two stepdaughters, Tammy Dion and Shirley Brunow, both of Sanford, 2 sisters, Margaret Ellis of New Hampshire, Freda Hardy of Jamaica Plain, MA, 10 grandchildren and a great granddaughter.A graveside service and burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at Forest Grove Cemetery in Lebanon with the Rev.
