Raymond A. Hamilton

Raymond A. Hamilton, 82, of Springvale, died at his home on Monday, March 3, 2014.Raymond was born in Berwick, Maine on December 31, 1931. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was employed as a taxi and van driver for many years.Surviving are his wife Beverly; three children, Belinda, Cindy and David; four step-children, Michelle, Michael, Joanne and Juliette and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.At Raymond's request there will be no visiting hours. A graveside service with military honors will be held in the spring at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery located on Stanley Road in Springvale.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
