Gerard D. Guillemette

Gerard D. Guillemette, 55, of Lebanon, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 in Acton.Gerard was born in Sanford, on March 10, 1953 to Andre and Jeannette (Dion) Guillemette and attended local schools. He was a 1971 graduate of Sanford High School.Gerard worked as a machine operator at Cyro for over 20 years. He had been enjoying his retirement years working on his farm in Lebanon. He raised cattle and bred Cane Corso and Rottweiler dogs. He also enjoyed keeping a vegetable garden. Gerard was very good with his hands and enjoyed helping friends with projects around their homes. He liked woodworking and doing work around the farm. Gerard's grandchildren were very special to him and he always enjoyed spending time with them. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.Gerard was predeceased by his parents.Surviving are three sons, Shawn Guillemette of Springvale, Jamie Guillemette of Sanford and Andre Guillemette of Alfred; his life long companion, Debra Wilson of Lebanon; his former spouse, Ann Fair of Parsonsfield; six grandchildren, Chad, Adam, Ryan, Alyssa, Vanessa and Addison; four brothers, Ronald Guillemette, Roland Guillemette, John Guillemette and Michael Guillemette; five sisters, Rachel Martin, Pauline Capen, Irene Plante, Elaine Conley and Dianne Rouillard and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 29, 2008 at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church in Sanford. Arrangements are through Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home in Sanford.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be sent to the Animal Welfare Society, P.O.
