Adrienne B. Gilman

Adrienne B. Gilman, 99, of Sanford, passed away on Thursday March 20, 2014 at the Newton Center. She was born in Sanford on April 20, 1914 a daughter of the late Arthur and Lydia (Fortier) Johnson. For many years she resided in Kentucky and Alabama where she was always active volunteering in church activities. She moved back to Sanford in 1972 after the death of her husband.She was a communicant of St. Ignatius parish. She also enjoyed playing golf.She is predeceased by her first husband, Roger Reed in 1972, her second husband, Howard Gilman in 1990. She is survived by two sons, Alan Reed of Alabama, Thomas Reed of Florida, stepson, Tom Gilman of Springvale.A memorial mass will be celebrated at a later date.
