Cecile A. Gauthier

Cecile A. Gauthier, 94, of Sanford, passed away on Thursday December 29, 2016 at the Newton Center in Sanford. She was born in Sanford on May 9, 1922, a daughter of the late Thomas and Delina (Lapointe) Chapais.For many years she was employed at Eastern Air Device in Dover, NH until her retirement.She is predeceased by her husband, Leonel Gauthier who passed away in 2001. She is also predeceased by one grandson, Steven Roy, one sister, Viola Demers, one brother Lionel Chapais, son in law, Brian Plaski.She is survived by her five daughters, Dorothy Plaski of Sanford, Patricia Wright and her husband Charlie of Cape Porpoise, Sandra Doiron and her husband Gerard of Granby, CT, Joanne Howard and her husband Paul of Hudson, NH, Linda Rouillard and her husband Roland of Wells, one sister, Gertrude Paquette and her husband, Raymond of Spring Hill, FL, sister in law, Theresa Chapais of Sanford, as well as many grand children, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 5th at 10AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
