Mildred Fulton, 83, of Acton, died January 6 at the Southern Maine Medical Center in Biddeford after a long illness.She was born in Cambridge, MA on September 3, 1929, the daughter of Martin T. and Lillian (Pyper) Larson.Mildred and her husband Glenn were longtime residents of Marblehead, MA and summer residents of Great East Lake in Acton. Upon his retirement in 1984, they moved permanently to Great East Lake, but wintered in Ocala, Florida.They were members of the Acton Congregational Church. Glenn passed away in 2010 after spending many enjoyable years with Mildred.Mildred loved her family and the country life offered by Great East Lake. She maintained her home in meticulous fashion and was a great cook. She enjoyed listening to the music of Glen Miller and loved to knit. Many family members were the recipients of her hand made sweaters.Survivors include her son Glenn Fulton, Jr. and his wife Sharon, son Grant Fulton and his wife Irie, all of Marblehead, MA, daughter Lynne Emmons and her husband Clyde of Sanbornville, NH, sister Gloria Larson of Worcester, MA, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday at 10:00 AM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Highland Grove Cemetery in No. Shapleigh.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Acton Congregational Church, P. O.
