Stella A. Fortier

Stella A. Fortier, 82, of Sanford, passed away at her home on Wednesday January 1, 2020. She was born in Springvale on December 4, 1937 a daughter of the late Emile and Cecile (Blanchette) Giguere. She attended local schools graduating from St. Ignatius High School in 1956.On May 30, 1963 she married Philip Fortier at Notre Dame Church in Springvale.She is predeceased by her son, Brian Fortier.She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Philip Fortier of Sanford, children, Steven Fortier of Sanford, Alan Fortier of Richmond, Scott Fortier of Sanford, five grandchildren and one sister, Linda Guay of Sanford.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 6th at 10AM at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
