Louis C. Forni, Jr., 73, of Sanford, died on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford.Louis was born in Somerville, Massachusetts on July 21, 1941 to Louis and Elvira (Rossi) Forni. He grew up in Arlington, Massachusetts and attended local schools, graduating from Somerville High School in 1959. After high school he served in the U.S Naval Reserve and graduated from the Wentworth Institute in Boston. He was employed for nearly 50 years at M/Acom, later known as Tyco, until he retired in 2013 due to declining health.Louis enjoyed antique cars, riding motorcycles and taking his dog for walks. He was also a member of the Southern Maine Sno-Goers and had served as their treasurer for many years. He was devoted to his family and always made spending time with them a priority. Louis was a communicant of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish in Sanford and often attended the Notre Dame Chapel in Alfred as well. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend and will be dearly missed. Louis was predeceased by his parents.Surviving are his wife, Linda Forni of Sanford; two sons, Anthony Forni of Sanford and Heyden Cebada-Rivas of Cancn, Mexico; two sisters, Marilyn Gallardo of Westford, Massachusetts and Karen Forni of Kennebunk and several nieces and nephews.Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday, January 5th at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home located at 29 Winter Street in Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM of Tuesday, January 6th at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, located on North Avenue in Sanford. Interment will be in the spring at St. Ignatius Cemetery in Sanford.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Notre Dame Spiritual Center, P.O.
