Leah Follis

Leah F. Follis, 75, of Acton, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at the H.D. Goodall Hospital in Sanford. She was born in Somerville, MA on November 30, 1931, a daughter of Charles and Leah McDonald. On June 7, 1953 she married Arthur Follis in Cambridge, MA. Leah's career was primarily as a homemaker although she did work in the electronics and hotel industry. In her later years, in spite of many medical issues, she traveled extensively and truly enjoyed life especially the last several years at the camp on Great East Lake. Here is where she found comfort, peace and serenity enjoying the panoramic views overlooking the lake.Mrs. Follis is predeceased by her parents, one brother, Charles McDonald and one sister, Barbara McDonald.She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Arthur Follis of Acton, one daughter, Leah Kane and her husband John and their son Evan who reside in Scarborough, one son, Arthur Follis who also resides in Scarborough.A private service for the immediate family was held.Those wishing to send condolences may send expressions to the St. Jude's Hospital Memorial & Honor Program 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.To leave a message of condolence please use the "condolences" tab to the left.
