Robert Fleurant

Robert A. Fleurant, 66, of Sanford, passed away on Sunday April 26, 2009, at the Gosnell Memorial House in Scarborough. He was born in Sanford on May 28, 1942, a son of Ernest and Aline (Mercier) Cloutier. He attended local schools and graduated from Sanford High School.He retired from the US Army in 1985 with over 22 years of service. During this time he also served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Sanford VFW.He is predeceased by his father, Ernest Cloutier, two sisters, Jeannine Munsey, Susan Fleurant and one brother, Ronald Fleurant. He is survived by one daughter, Sandra R. Rickabaugh of Sanford, his mother, Aline Cloutier of Sanford, three grandchildren, Andre, Aryanna, and Mikala Rickabaugh, one sister, Ann Marie Niell.Visiting hours will be on Wednesday April 29th from 4 to 7pm at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday at 1 :30pm.
