Donna M. Feeney, 57, of Sanford passed away surrounded by her family after a courageous two year battle with cancer at her daughters home in Shapleigh. She was met by her mother, Leona McGlaughlin and her late husband, Paul R. Feeney as she entered what will be her next life. She was born and raised in Boston, MA on January 31, 1956.She moved to Sanford in 1977 where she and Paul raised their two daughters and continued to live for the remainder of their lives. She enjoyed various games including Bunko, card games and cribbage.She is survived by her daughters, Colleen Feeney-Dyer and her husband, Glenn, Kathleen Feeney and her fiance Nick Deyo, four grandchildren, McKenzie, Isabella, Gabby-Grace and Ethan, who she loved so dearly. She is also survived by her sister, Kathleen and her husband, Peter Hollis, brothers, Tommy Shea and his wife, Darlene, Richie Shea and his wife, Patty, Frankie Shea, Johnny McGlaughlin and his wife, Mary Rose and Kevin McGlaughlin and his wife, Shelly, as well as many nieces and nephews, her special friend and companion Roger Roux. Donna was also survived by her best friend and most trusted confidant, Katherine Spinney and her husband, Harold who was Paul's best friend. She is survived by other friends who had been a part of her life over the years.A funeral service for Donna will be held on Friday at 1PM at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. Visiting hours will begin at 11AM until the time of the funeral service. Burial will follow at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider donations in her memory to the Cancer Care Center of York County, 27 Industrial Avenue, Sanford, Maine 04073 or to Hospice of Southern Maine 180 US RT 1, Scarborough, ME 04074.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.
