Lillian L. Dumas, 84, of Sanford, died June 30 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH.She was born in Sanford on February 2, 1925, a daughter of Elzear and Lydia (Fortier) Fortier, attended Holy Family School and, until a couple of years ago, had been a lifelong Sanford resident.For 40 years, she was employed with Tennford Weaving.She was a communicant of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, a member of the Daughters of Isabella and was a Cursillista.Survivors include her daughter with whom she resided, Constance Sylvester and her husband Michael of Manchester, NH, 2 sons, Roger Dumas and his wife Joyce of Alfred, Raymond Dumas and his wife Karen of Springvale, 2 brothers, Gerard Fortier and his wife Thelma of Laconia, NH, Ralph Fortier and his wife Dot of Sanford, a sister, Lucille Guillemette of Sanford, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 AM at the St. Ignatius Church of St. Therse of Lisieux Parish in Sanford. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the St. Jude's Children's Hospital Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.Arrangements are under the direction of the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford.
