Rosetta E. Ducharme

Rosetta Eileen Ducharme,105, of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday November 6, 2019, following a short illness at the Newton Center. She was born in Shapleigh a daughter of the late Charles and Bertha (Flanders) Fletcher. She moved to Springvale when she was three years old to live with her grandparents, Mark and Carrie Haley. She attended Sanford schools graduating from Sanford High in 1931.She was employed in area shoe shops until retiring in 1974. Her hobbies included knitting, crafts, and crocheting.She was predeceased by her husband, Oscar Ducharme who passed in 1980, her sister, Katherine Fisk in 1993, sister, Althea Hasting in 1997, brother, George Fletcher in 2000, brother, Byron Fletcher in 2014, sister, Glenda Krampitz in 2019.She is survived by her son, Clifford Fletcher and his wife, Jeannette, granddaughter, Linda Fletcher of Hampstead, NH, as well as several nieces and nephews.Per her wishes there will be no visiting hours.A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 14th at 1PM at Oakdale Cemetery in Sanford.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
