Ursula C. Devoid

Ursula C. Devoid, 73, of Sanford passed away on January 17, at St. Andre's Healthcare in Biddeford. She was born in Sanford on January 11, 1943 to the late Osias Joseph and Diana (Dupuis) Marcoux, where she was raised and attended local schools.In 1964, she married Roger Devoid and together they raised three children.Ursula had many interests including music and her Catholic Faith. Volunteering full time at the Franciscan Monastery Gift shop in Kennebunk was a very important part of her life and she continued that for about 20 years. Being very family oriented she loved her children, and especially her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed.She was predeceased by her husband, and daughter, Angela.Survivors include a son, Marc Devoid and his wife Therese of Wisconsin, a son, Donald and his wife Samantha, of Mansfield Massachusetts, and grandchildren, Nicholas, Celine, Alex, Claire, Dominic, and Thomas.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 25, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Therese Lisieux Parish Holy Family Church on North Avenue in Sanford.
