Yvette A. Demko

Bartow, FL - Yvette A. Demko, 60, formerly of Sanford, Maine, died Monday, March 17 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Tampa due to heart failure. She was born in Sanford on July 11, 1947, the daughter of Roger and Frances (Adamski) Therrien. Yvette was a resident of Lakeland, FL for the past 6 years. Yvette was a secretary at Cleveland Court Elementary School in Lakeland. She attended St. John Neumann Catholic Church. She was a member of the Jaycee's Club and Altrusa International both in Sanford. She was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and loved to read and travel extensively. Survivors are her husband, Stephen J. Demko of Bartow, her son Erik Bergeron of Berwick, ME, and her daughter Lisa Marie Bald of York, ME, her father Roger Therrien of Sanford, her brother Roger Therrien, Jr. of Londonderry, NH, and her sister Helen Bragg of Sanford, along with four grandsons and a granddaughter. Visiting hours will be Tuesday March 25 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter Street, Sanford, Maine. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30 AM, at St. Therse of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church.
