The long winters in Alaska found Jean and Richard soaking up the Hawaiian Sunshine as often as they could and they invited all their children to join them in 1985 for a month long stay in Poipu, Kauai! Jean and Richard eventually returned to their home state of Maine and settled in Sanford. A proud member of her church, Jean took great joy in sharing and helping others with her artistic skills. She delighted at her time working at the local 'Old Timers Shop' in downtown Sanford, Maine. In August of this year, Jean was pampered by her loving daughter Marjorie, who traveled from Nevada to be with her for 3 weeks.
