Raymond L. Dashnaw

Raymond L. Dashnaw, III, 35, of Sanford, affectionately known as Rudy or Little Ray by family and friends, passed away unexpectedly following a short illness on November 6, 2020 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.Raymond was born in Sanford on January 23, 1985 where he grew up and attended local schools. He loved sports and playing video games. He also loved to draw, go fishing with family and was passionate about cooking. He was a loving and devoted father to his two children Austin and Peiton. Raymond was always a fighter and had beat cancer twice during his lifetime. He will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends.Raymond was predeceased by both his maternal and paternal grandparents and by his step-father.Raymond is survived by his wife Kimber, his son Austin and his daughter Peiton, all of Sanford; his mother, Laura and her husband of Caribou; His brother, Michael of Caribou; His father Raymond, Jr. and his wife of Farmington, NH; his step-grandmother of Farmington, NH; several step-brothers and stepsisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.Services for Raymond will be private.Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider sending a memorial contribution to Raymond Dashnaw, Jr., 43 Hancock Street, Farmington, New Hampshire 03835.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.To leave a message of condolence for the family please click on the condolences tab to the left.
