Mark V. Coyne

SANFORD - Mark Vincent Coyne Sr., 53, of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born in Biddeford on September 1, 1956, son of Robert A. and Hazel B. (Lanoix) Coyne.Mark was an easy going, kind hearted person, offering help to anyone that needed it, whether he knew them or not. If Mark did not know you, he made a point to get to know you. Mark had a natural talent to fix anything mechanical or electronic. He enjoyed spending time with his family and playing Texas Hold 'em. Mark had a varied career, holding many positions. Most recently he worked many years at the Kennebunk Transfer and Recycling Center.Mark was predeceased by his mother, Hazel in 1983.He is survived by his wife, Laura (Normandeau) Coyne of Sanford; his father and step-mother, Robert and Joan Coyne of Kennebunk and Jensen Beach, FL; sons, Mark V. Coyne, II of Waterville and James Robert; a daughter, Deanna Lee; two step-sons, Raymond and Michael Dashnaw, all of Sanford. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard and his wife, Pam, of Wells, Glen and his wife, Gaylynn of Rutherfordton, NC, Trevor and his partner, Joe of Portland; a sister, Sabrina and her husband of Stanley of Okeechobee, FL; a step-sister, Carol Fenderson of Kennebunk; a step-brother, Paul Thurston of Kennebunk; four grandchildren, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.Visiting hours for Mark will be held Tuesday, May11th from 6 - 8 pm at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale.
