Sylvia M. Cote

Sylvia M. Cote, 77, of Lenoir City, Tennessee, passed away on September 3, 2014 in Tennessee. She was born in Sanford on February 8, 1937 a daughter of the late Joseph R. Cote and Winnie Cote Allaire. She graduated from Sanford High School in 1955, where she was one of the top female athletes. After graduation she joined the U.S. Air Force and moved to Tennessee where she lived the rest of her life.She is predeceased by her parents, sisters, Phyllis Laraviere and Charlene Cote. She is survived by her sisters, Gloria M. LeBlanc, Paula Cote and brother, Joseph Cote Jr, nieces, Sandra Sausier, Kathy Nolette, Gayle McAllister, newphews Ronald Tanguay, Richard Tanguay, Stephen Tanguay, Tom LeBlanc and many friends in Tennessee.Burial with military honors will take place on Friday, September 26 at 2:00 PM at the Southern Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Springvale.Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.Condolences may be expressed at www.blackfuneralhomes.com
