Clarisse C. Collette
Clarisse C. Collette, 90, of Sanford, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 10, 2017 at MassachusettsGeneral Hospital in Boston.She was a lifelong resident of St. Louis Street in Sanford and more recently resided at the Mayflower Place inSanford. She was born in Sanford on February 27, 1927, a daughter of the late Ernest and Marie Cote. Sheattended Sanford Schools. Married in 1951, she was the widow of Lt. Joseph Roger Collette who was a casualtyof the Korean War.She was a lifelong communicant of Holy Family Church. She worked at the Jagger Mill Store, Michaud'sJewelery Store, Thayer-Diggery and Hooz's. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, contributing many ofher finished projects to Holy Family Church and St. Thomas School Fairs.She is predeceased by her sisters, Bernadette Cote, Juliette Reed, Yvonne Letourneau, Ernestine Roux andLucienne Michaud.She is survived by her son, Roger G. Collette and his wife, Estelle (Lapierre) of West Chester, PA,grandchildren, Andrew Collette of West Chester, PA, Mary Bourquin and her husband, Ronald, greatgrandchildren, Dylan Bourquin and Danielle Bourquin of Coon Rapids, MN, sister-in-law, Marie Jacques ofSanford, ME and many nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 28 at 11:00 A.M. with an hour of visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. , at St. Therse of Liseux Parish, Holy Family Church, 66 North Ave. in Sanford.
