  2. Sally and husband Gerry were long time head volunteers for many, many years at the York County Shelter Programs Sanford Free Meals Kitchen. They volunteered three days a week helping to serve free noon meals to many hungry people from the Sanford area. During the summer Sally and Gerry brought large quantities of their garden vegetables to share with attending folks. I had the honor of working with them through my YCSP job as volunteer coordinator. Sally and Gerry made a difference in many people’s lives and always treated everyone with respect.
