Dorothy I. Berube

Dorothy I. Berube, 68, of Sanford, passed away on December 19, 2007 at the Newton Center in Sanford. Born in Norton, MA, she was a daughter of Wilfred F. and Ruth B. (Swift) La Plante. Mrs. Berube retired from York County Community Action where she had been employed as an Office Manager. She is predeceased by her husband, Bruce A. Berube who passed away on July 18, 2002.She is survived by her two sons, Bill Simoneau and his fiance, Pamela of Sanford, Mark Simoneau and his wife, Elizabeth of Pittsburg, PA, three grandchildren, stepfather, Henry Moquin of Sanford, one sister, Joanne Whalley of Attleboro, MA.At her request services were private.Arrangements are under the direction of the Carll-Heald and Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street in Springvale.
