  1. My mother, Joan Plourd Pierce, idolized Ruth as being one of the nicest, most loving, and joyful people (let alone relatives) that she had ever met. In some ways, I’m glad my mother isn’t here to see the day that Ruthie left us because she would have felt the world was a darker place without her. Looking forward to seeing you all at Visitation. Much love to the family that she infused with her sunny view on life. Your cousin, Patricia

  2. When a loved one fall asleep in death, the pain, the grief, and the feelings of helplessness can seem unbearable. At such times, may you find comfort from God’s Word. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those in any sort of tribulation through the comfort with which we ourselves are being comforted by God 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4.

  3. My prayers go out to the Black family for the lose of Ruthie…she was a lovely lady and much loved by her cousin Eugene(Gene)Plourd.

    – Rosemary Plourd
