SCARBOROUGH - Normand J. Beliveau, 84, of Clearwater Drive, died Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. He was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on June 5, 1930, a son of George and Eugenie (Lanouette) Beliveau. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in Lawrence, class of 1949, and received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Merrimack College, class of 1953. He married Lorraine M. Pare on November 26, 1953, at St. Anne's Church in Lawrence. Normand worked thirty years as a salesman for numerous companies, including Beechnut, Pitney Bowes, and Dyna Systems. He was then self-employed as a handyman. He was a skilled woodworker and also enjoyed vegetable gardening, saltwater fishing, clamming, and eating lobster. He was a charter member of Knights of Columbus Council 4027 in Methuen, Massachusetts, and a founding member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Scarborough, where he was a Eucharistic Minister, lector, and alter server. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years; a daughter, Jeanne Marie Brown of Augusta; five sons, Ronald Beliveau and wife Debbie of Florida, Michael Beliveau of Texas, Matthew Beliveau and wife Patty of Westbrook, George Beliveau and wife Stacey of Pennsylvania, and Andrew Beliveau and wife Christine of Scarborough; twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held 3:00 - 7:00 pm, Wednesday, at Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Thursday, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 150 Black Point Road, Scarborough. Burial will follow at Black Point Cemetery, Scarborough.
