I am so sorry to learn of Dick’s passing. Although I had no contact with Dick for the last ten years plus , He had a tremendous influence on the direction of my life. Out of high school when I was 17, I knew nothing about anything. I was offered a job with Oakhurst taking Dick White’s old route. Dick was one of the first people who I got to know. In fact I almost quit the first day as I was read the riot act by Fred, who was the platform boss. Suffice it to say, Dick got me beyond Fred and guided me through all that I had to learn and know about anything . He was a good person and a great friend when I needed one. Thank you Dick!
