Kaitlin Eileen DeMatteo 2002-2021 PLYMOUTH, MASSACHUSETTS--Kaitlin Eileen DeMatteo, age 19 years, of Plymouth, died Thursday, September 9, 2021 at her home in Plymouth, MA. Born in Wareham, MA, she was raised in Plymouth where she lived all her life. She was the daughter of Dr. Mark P. and Kathleen (Hegarty) DeMatteo. Kaitlin enjoyed listening to all kinds of music. She loved the ocean, enjoyed spending time at the beach, going out on the boat, her Birthday month (July) and especially the Christmas Holiday. A devoted fan of all sports, Kaitlin especially loved football with a special fondness for former New England Patriot quarterback, Tom Brady. A few of her favorite hobbies were helping mom in the kitchen & crafting. Kaitlin loved unicorns and spending time with her family and friends. Besides her loving and devoted parents, Mark and Kathleen, Kaitlin will be sadly missed by many cousins, aunts and uncles including Auntie Carol and Uncle Steve Plummer, cousin Tyler Plummer, Auntie Patty and Uncle Scott Andrus, cousins Sophie and Ryan Andrus, Uncle Carl and Aunt Barbara DeMatteo, Cousins Greg and Christina DeMatteo, cousins Mary, Henry and Frankie Cyr and Auntie T Bellino. Special thanks to close friends and care givers Courtney Bailey, Lori, Georgia and Lila Carr, Stef Deneault, Matt Comeau, Krystin Maini, Michaela Hood, Michelle Pina, and Mara Evans. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Kaitlin will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 10:00AM at Holy Cross Church, 124 Cottage Road, South Portland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Philanthropy Office, Beth Israel-Deaconess Hospital - Plymouth, MA, 275 Sandwich Street, Plymouth, MA 02360. In memory of Kaitlin DeMatteo.
