Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Brett was my first cousin. As a child, he was the cutest little boy you could ever imagine. His dimples were just precious. ❤️. We use to drive up from Long Island to visit a lot when we were kids. We’d see each other occasionally at random times over the years and it was always a pleasant exchange. About 2 weeks before Brett passed , we had a very sweet conversation over the phone. I will treasure that time most of all.

  2. Towards the end of his life, Brett came to Jesus Christ and was able to accept the end was near . He is now with the Lord and at peace .

  3. There’s not just a few words that could ever describe Brett. He was complex. He wasn’t always much for following rules but he did believe in protocol and proper manners. He was a perfectionist. He was very self-conscious and always carried himself so well. It was a distinct pleasure to be by his side.

  4. My deepest condolences to Mom, Russell, Holly and Kim. I hope that you find comfort and strength in your many warm memories of him.

  5. He was a good man and I was blessed to call him friend for over 45 years. I was his “Guardian Angel” through all his Queensbury years and he was mine through many other years. In all the years I knew him, he never treated me unkindly or criticized me. I was always treated with the greatest respect. He’s truly one of the few people who’s accepted me as I am at every stage in my life. When he told me he was proud of me I believed him and it meant everything to me to hear that from him. I was incredibly proud of him.

  6. He absolutely loved Harvest Pizza, jazz music and a good fitting buttonup shirt. He loved the color blue and told me he looked good in it and he wasn’t wrong.
He would often remind me that he looked good in all the colors. ☺️
When he smiled, his whole face with sparkle. He was highly intelligent, funny, charismatic, articulate, logical and competitve. He remained incredibly athletic through all of his years until he got sick. To say that he enjoyed riding his bike would be an understatement. He would ride it 20 to 25 mi a day, rarely the same route. He’s also one of only about 16,000 that has climbed to all 46 of the Adirondack peaks.

  7. Playing fast pitch softball at Derby Park in Hudson Falls is a great memory that I’ll cherish forever. My sincere condolences to all. Rest in peace my brother!

  8. Our sincere condolences to the entire Scudder family on the loss of your love one, Brett was quite a guy who I recently met over a year ago but certainly always was happy to see me as well as strike a good conversation.
