I worked with Peter at PWD and played cribbage with him at lunch daily. He was the BEST cribbage player I ever met! Even with a ‘bad’ hand, he beat me with pegs! He was one of the good guys! Rest in peace my friend.

my heart goes out to Maryann and her family. I worked with Peter for over 30 years at PWD. Peter was a very smart man and also one of the funniest guys that I ever knew. Pete will always be in my heart and Pete will be sadly missed by so many friends and his co-workers
Papa, I hope you got my dollar bill. I didn’t win the lottery, but I figured I could swing it for you. I am going to miss you so much. One of the things I will remember most about my grandfather was his humor. If you knew Peter, you know what I am talking about. Thank you for making a family of your own, who you taught the importance of love, acceptance, and most importantly, always being there for one another. One of the best examples of love I will ever have is the nearly 60 year marriage between my grandfather Peter and my grandmother Maryann. Papa’s moral compass is one of the greatest things I could ever inherit and has deeply impacted my life. To say I am grateful for the long life my Papa lived would be an understatement. I love you Grammie and Papa!

I always enjoyed seeing Peter at family gatherings. When he walked deliberately towards you, you would definitely know that a good laugh was in store resulting from one of his stories or from just being in his warm presence. Thinking of you all, Maryann, Shawn, Rae, Julie, and Meg.
I am so sorry about Peter’s passing. I know that he will continue to live in your hearts.
Sending thoughts of peace and comfort.
Peter (and Maryann) taught me what love, loyalty and respect look like in a marriage!
Through it all, for 59 years, they walked through this life together with love and laughter ❤️
