I remember “Uncle “Eddie from growing up in the group home with Buddy and Annagrette. I will never forget Eddie’s great sense of humor and he always knew how to put a smile from me. I will forever think of him like an Uncle to me! Sorry Valerie for your loss. Rip uncle Eddie.
Every time I saw Eddie the story of going along the train tracks collecting wood for my Mother to keep the kitchen warm. I know he loved her. I always enjoyed his stories.
Eddie was always funny and loving. He will be missed by many. Debbie also sends her love and condolences.
Dear Valerie and family,
I’m so sorry for your loss.
Loved the way he picked on me EVERY TIME he saw me!!! Such a great guy!! ❤️
On my first day working at Swearingen Motors in1969, Eddie took me aside to teach me what to do and not do to stay on the boss’ good side. Over the next 50+ years he taught me so much about hard work, love of family, and helping others. Ed cared about everything and everybody.
Frederick and I will miss Eddie! He was a dear friend neighbor that was always made available to help you. We enjoyed trips to Fryeburg fair with him and Valerie. Our condolences to all families during this difficult time.
You were on this earth to help others Ed and you truly excelled at that task. Rest in peace my dear friend
Brother In-Law
Rough on the outside but a true Angel on the inside
Valerie, family and all of Ed’s many friends, I’m so sorry you had to lose him. Of all the people I met through Norman Davids’, Ed was a standout. When working as a salesman, he was there to help removing snow from the cars. Working as a service advisor, I could always count on Ed when things got busy. He was there to pull me out of an Aerostar that got away from me. Rest in peace old friend, Jim
To lisa Eddie Shamus and Valerie, I was so sorry to hear about Edwards passing. I was a friend of Lisas and new Valerie. So sorry for the family. Take care, Kristen Tully
Val and Family, I miss waiting on you and Ed at Denny’s, and catching up on old times. It is hard to believe Mike has been gone for 5 yrs in Sept. Dan and I are planning a life together and doing work on my property. I was sorry to read of Ed’s passing. I have always thought of you all as family. since I’ve known you all for over 30 yrs. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this time. Love to you all, Marlene
I thought the world of Eddie. I lived next door to Valerie for many years, she’s a little older than I but she was my idol. When she started dating Eddie I was so happy for her because he was a great guy and you could tell how much he loved her. Later in life Eddie helped my parents, Ruth and Paul Meehan with plowing or any odd thing they needed. He was what we call a real stand up man, one to be proud to know. Rest in Peace my friend, Paula Meehan Griffin
May your light continue to be bright no matter where it is.
