Ryan Gallagher Navarro 1972-2022 SOUTH PORTLAND—Ryan Gallagher Navarro, 50 of South Portland, died Thursday December 8 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House. He was born in Portland September 11, 1972 the son of Florencio “Jimmy” and Eileen (Gallagher) Navarro. He grew up in South Portland and attended Cheverus and South Portland High Schools. He went on to attend Central Maine Community College to learn welding and machining. He worked at several places in Maine and New Hampshire, including Nichols, Inc. When he wasn’t working, Ryan enjoyed hunting, fishing, computer gaming, canoe trips and his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time with his friends and attending concerts with them. He was always helping someone move or haul things in his truck. Ryan was predeceased by his father, Florencio “Jimmy” Navarro and his brother, Florencio Navarro, Jr. He is survived by his mother, Eileen M. Navarro; his siblings, Terri Navarro of Buxton, Kim Lawrence and her husband Steve of Virginia and Paul Navarro of Skowhegan as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visiting hours will be at the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland on Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Thursday December 15 at 10:00 am

  1. Ryan is my uncle, and when he left this earth he took a huge chunk of my heart with him. I loved him with all of my being and he truly meant the world to me. He had a smile that could light up any room and his sense of humor was truly in unmatched. He stayed positive throughout his entire cancer journey and helped me to do the same. He was truly my rock and was an amazing uncle as well as human being!!! And his memory will forever live on in my heart!!! 😭🥺💔❤️💕
