Honora Yvonne Greer

South Portland- Honora Y. Greer, 93, died peacefully on Monday, February 8, 2021 at the Pinnacle Nursing Home after a long period of declining health, her loving sons by her side. She was born in South Portland, Maine on October 22, 1927 as the youngest child of the late Franklin and Eva (O'Donnell) Warren. After graduating from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Honora spent her forty year nursing career at Mercy Hospital. After retirement she enjoyed spending time with her sons and their families, traveling with her nieces, celebrating holidays with extended family, and socializing with neighbors and friends. The family appreciates the many years of loving care provided to Honora at Pinnacle Health and Rehabilitation in South Portland. Honora was predeceased by her siblings, Helena Anania, Franklin Warren, Matthew Warren, Tennyson Warren and Patricia Kenney. She is survived by two sons, Larry and his wife Jane Greer of SC and Cape Elizabeth, Andy and his wife Dana Greer of Cape Elizabeth; grandchildren, Michael, Jordan and Andrew Greer; two special nieces, Suzanne Orlowski and Diana Collins both of South Portland; and many nieces and nephews.
