My deepest condolences to the family. I met Adam while working at the Shore Lodge in Idaho. I was a seasonal employee and he was one of the nicest people I met during my time at the lodge. He was welcoming and helpful since my first day and always encourage me to do better. Super funny and always smiling, that’s how I remember him. Thank you for everything my friend, you will be missed.
I am deeply saddened by the news of Adams passing. He was always such a respectful and kind young man. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it. My Condolences to the family. David Bailey
Adam made a life long impact on my life and I am forever grateful to him. When I entered new life house in January of 2017 I was lost and was a sad excuse for a human being. During my journey through the house, Adam and I became very close and having a few months more sober time than I, he was someone I sought advice from very often. I remember countless nights sitting outside and just talking about life and plans for after the house, etc. He always made me feel better when I was struggling and never hesitated to keep things real with me and tell me when I was on some BS. Adam had a huge heart, that’s the first thing that comes to mind when I think about him. I was shocked to hear the tragic news and it definitely cut deep. I got the chance to get to know his sweet mom Denise, and brother Luke, and my heart breaks for them both. Adam also had the chance to meet my family and spend time with them multiple times and they always said he was one of their favorites of my friends. Adam, you will be missed my friend! I hope you find peace as you rest. Go Pats! I love you man!
Deep sadness for the Fogg Family and friends. His life was full and challenging though taken from us all too soon. Prayers to his family and friends and those touched by his life.
Adam was one of the most kind hearted, and empathetic people I’ve ever met. He played a huge part in my own personal journey of recovery. He had a way of making you feel truly heard and understood. We had many late night talks about life, and he helped me to become the man I am today. I will never forget him.
Adam was the first man to sit down and help me in my own journey of recovery. He’d had a long day at work with several other things to work on, and it was already late, but he set himself aside to sit down and talk with me while I was struggling. That’s what defines Adam to me. His spirit has helped an untold number of men find themselves in their own recovery. That spirit continues to spread through this side of his community, by the people he has passed it on to. He will be missed, and more importantly, honored.
I am so very sorry for your loss. While I never had the privilege of meeting Adam, my son Chris Burke lived with him at Miracle House, considered him a friend and loved him. I have enjoyed reading about all the things Adam loved to do, he was truly a gift. My prayers are with your family during this incredibly difficult time. Nancy Burke
Adam was such a light to this world. The mention of him being in Grease brought up amazing memories of us driving around singing the whole Grease soundtrack. He always made me smile and laugh harder than I thought I could. He will be so missed by so many. My heart aches so bad but I know he is now at peace. I love you Adam, I hope you are putting on one hell of an encore up there <3
my favorite memory with Adam was our mission trip to Mississippi. He was the life of our group, the most fun, the best soul to be around. He was a special person, so special that our class voted him class president senior year. RIP my friend, I hope you’re finally at peace.
Our deepest Condolences and prayers being sent to you all. How very sad to lose someone so sweet and kind. Adam was the nicest person you could possibly meet, may he Rest In Peace free from his trials. Love from the Ryles
Adam was one of the first friendly faces I met when I got sober. He was kind and welcoming. He showed me what this life has to offer and I will be forever grateful to him for that.
I met Adam back in 2017 at New Life house. I was a scared 19 year old boy with nothing going for me. Adam was instantly a big brother and role model to me. Everyone looked up to him. He could either silence a room or have it burst out into laughter. People listened to him and would go to him for advice. Adam would spend hours with me late at night, smoking cigarettes and talking about recovery on the porch. Nights I’ll never forget. The memories I have with Adam and his family are precious and I will cherish them forever. Rest easy friend, Love and miss you.
I am forever grateful to Adam for introducing my son, Skyler, to New Life House, even flying with him the last leg of his cross country flight to check in and get oriented. Adam had a loving, helping heart. I will forever celebrate him, thank him, and wish him peace. Kathryn, a mom
I met Adam as a freshman at UVM. We lived in the same dorm and same hall, just a couple of doors apart. While college as a freshman was scary and lonely, Adam was always a friendly face and someone that will put a smile on my face. He made everything seem alright. He will be remembered for his big smile and his enormous heart. My deepest condolences to his family. May he rest easy.
I went through New Life with Adam in 2022. I shared a bedroom with him during his stay there. He was a great roommate. We were always the first two to go to bed in our room. I remember one night where he started singing and it left me in awe how talented he was. He also had a great sense of humor. It was cool meeting someone who lived in Portland because my Dad lived there as well when he was in high school. I will miss Adam a lot but will never forget the time I got to spend with him. My fondest memory was the time I spent with him and his Mom in Manhattan Beach around Christmas. We spent the night talking, eating ice cream, and walking on the pier. I will never forget his kind heart and love he had for me and the boys at the house. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I am very glad I got to know Adam and I hope he has found the peace he was looking for in heaven.
