Nancy M. Tims

WEST CUMBERLAND - Nancy M. Tims, 66, of Forest Lake Rd died Monday, June 20, 2011 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer. Her loving family was by her side. Nancy was born on August 12, 1944 in Bingham, Maine the daughter of Wilfred and Gertrude Deprey Michaud. She attended local schools and graduated from Bingham High School in the class of 1962. She married Gary R Tims in Portland on June 28, 1985. Nancy worked as General Manager for Keeley Crane Service for several years. She owned and operated the Seymour Bird Refuge where raised and rescued exotic birds, she was also a licensed bird shelter. In her spare time she loved to attend auctions where she would collect depression glass. Nancy is survived by her husband of more than twenty-five years: two daughters, Stacy and her husband Frank Nachman of Bow, NH, and Andrea and her husband Robin Lowery of Westbrook; a sister Sandra and her husband Myron Dickey of Anson; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the Conroy-Tully Crawford Funeral Home South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway.
