To the family of Gertrude Parker: My synpathy to you. My wife and I first met “Trudy” when she arrived to teach PE at Caribou High in the early 1950’s. We were all new to teaching and enjoyed her spirit and enthusiasm for her work. In later years, Trudy and I have been “catching up” at the annual conventions of retired educators in Augusta. She was a wonderful person and will be missed by all who knew her. I’m sure all of you have great memories of her life with you.

I always enjoyed seeing your Mom when she came to the pharmacy. Sharing a memory or two from past days at St Ansgar , it always left me with a smile. I’m so very sorry for your loss.
