PORTLAND - Brenda F. Nueslein, 71, formerly of Hicks Street and Sabbath Day Lake Road, New Gloucester, died Sunday, August 17, 2014, at the Barron Center, with her loving family at her side. She was born on August 12, 1943, a daughter of Walter and Leora (Smith) Dolbow. She married Carl J. Nueslein Jr. Brenda worked for 20 years as a manager at McDonald's, retiring in 2004. Following retirement her love of children led her to work as a part-time baby sitter. She enjoyed many hobbies, including playing bingo, rubber stamping, quilting, attending Sucarapc Grange, gardening, and cooking. She is predeceased by her husband who died March 21, 2007, and a sister, Bonnie Dolbow. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Lee Cheney and husband David of Windham and Nancy Young of Portland; three sons, Chalmers Russell and wife Rendell of Raymond, Thomas Nueslein and wife Nancy of Gorham, and Michael Russell of Westbrook; three sisters, Audrey Foley and husband Tim of Westbrook, Marlene Frost of New Gloucester, and Karen Hager of California; three brothers, Joseph Dolbow and wife Roberta of Stonington, Kim Dolbow and wife Deborah of South Portland, and Robin Dolbow and wife Faye of Westbrook; fifteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be 3:00 - 6:00 pm, Wednesday, at Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. A funeral service will held 11:00 am, Thursday, at the Chapel. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland.
