Eleanor A. McPhee

Lewiston- Eleanor A. McPhee, 92, formerly of South Portland, died peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the DYouville Pavillion in Lewiston. Eleanor was born in South Portland on July 9, 1924 the daughter of the late George E. and Madeline J. Ross. She attended local schools and graduated from South Portland High School. Eleanor worked as a secretary for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for her entire career. She was a life-long member of the Episcopal Church. She was predeceased by two sisters Doretha E. Ross and Alice J. Ross. She is survived by a son Alan and his wife Joanne McPhee of Buxton; longtime friend and caregiver David Hamlin and his family of Lewiston. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 1:00pm at Forest City Cemetery, Lincoln Street, South Portland.
