CUMBERLAND - Shawn McMahon, 33, passed away unexpectedly on July 20, 2016. He was born on November 17, 1982 in Westfield, Massachusetts to Gary and Michle (Mailloux) McMahon. Shawn graduated with a Bachelors degree from Rollins College in Florida. He was a Vice President and Financial Center Manager at Bank of America, managing the Mill Creek location in South Portland, Maine. On June 27, 2015, Shawn married Brittany Gilbert. Together they enjoyed taking motorcycle rides, hiking, playing cards, and simply relaxing at home watching movies. Family time was very important to Shawn and he cherished time with Britt, his son, Noah, and their two cats. Shawn also enjoyed golfing and playing poker with friends, cycling, playing bocce, water skiing, and running. He and Noah were keen on playing games and exploring in the woods. He will always be remembered by his warm smile and his sharp dressed man appearance that lit up the room. Shawn is survived by his wife, Britt; son, Noah; parents, Gary and Michle; brother, Stephan, his wife Melissa and their two children, Isabela and Patrick; brother, Scott; and the Gilbert family. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, July 26 from 4-8PM at the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland . A service to honor Shawn will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 27at 11AM. Burial will be private.   6. I have been a longtime customer of Shawn’s at Millcreek Bank of America. He always greeted me and remembered me.He always looked nice, all dressed up, and I would comment on his great style.We also commiserated when I broke my wrist as he had had a similar experience.I was stunned to read of his death in the paper. It won’t seem the same at the bank without having him to greet me.So sorry.
