I am so sorry for your loss and offer words of comfort to the family. The Bible tells us Jesus wept upon seeing the family of his dear friend Lazarus grieving. Yet, just minutes later, Jesus performed an astounding miracle – he raised Lazarus back to life, on earth. (John 11:32-44) In so doing, he gave all mankind solid grounds for faith in the amazing promise he had made earlier in his ministry when he said: The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15) May the precious hope of a resurrection to life on a paradise earth to take place in the near future comfort each of you at this difficult time. (Psalm 37:11,29)
