Florence Ann LaBerge

Portland-Florence A. LaBerge, 88, of Washington Ave, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at St. Josephs Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Portland on February 22, 1928, a daughter of Arthur W. and Annie M. (Goodwin) Pressey. She was a warm, quiet person who enjoyed time with family. She also enjoyed bowling, dancing, bingo, word puzzles, and music. She is predeceased by her husband Raymond J. LaBerge Sr.; two sisters, Dorothy and Ada; two brothers, Charles and Fred; and a son in law, Arnold Butch Plummer. She is survived two daughters, Linda Miller and husband Donald, of Windham, and Mary Plummer of Scarborough; two sons, Robert LaBerge and wife Cecelia of Scarborough, and Raymond J. LaBerge Jr. and wife Jane, of Newport, North Carolina; two sisters, Grace Rice of Portland and Frances Enman of Portland; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Holy Cross Church, 124 Cottage Road, South Portland. Burial will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland. Flo was such a simple, but very eloquent lady. She was not loud, but got her views across very clear. I will miss seeing her at family parties, and watching her light up when the grand children were there. Will be sadly missed, but always remembered!
