Beverly Hodgkins

FALMOUTH - Beverly, 67, of Falmouth died Wednesday April 24, 2013 at a Portland hospital. She was born January 30, 1946 in Portland, a daughter of Lewis B., Jr. and Gladys (Simpson) Wildes. She was educated locally and was a 1964 graduate of Portland High School. Beverly married Bradford Hodgkins in South Portland on May 13, 1967. Together in 1976, Bradford and Beverly started the business H H Rigging Company of Falmouth. She retired as Treasurer in 2012. Beverly was a vast collector of salt and pepper shakers. She enjoyed travelling, especially cruises; loved flower gardening and playing cards. Beverly was predeceased by her husband Bradford February 6, 2013 and her parents. Surviving Beverly is a son, Troy Hodgkins and his wife Denise of Falmouth; a daughter, Holly Hodgkins of Florida; two sisters, Patricia Thomas and her husband Richard of MA., Susan Wildes of MA; three grandchildren, Devante, Diondre, Amaya, and a great grandson, Wyatt. A double graveside service will be held Friday May 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest City Cemetery, South Portland for both Beverly and Bradford with Military Rites for Bradford. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of their choice.
