  1. Winnie will be greatly missed. I go to Portland every November with my niece and Winnie always wanted to hear about my trip when I got back. I used to live at 600 Main Street. I will think of her while I am there this year.

  2. Winnie was my best friend’s mother. I first met her in the 60’s when I was in high school with her daughter, Mary. She was always very pleasant to me. She was very laid back. We would gather after dinner in different rooms around the house and say the rosary. I loved the way the whole family joined in. She was a thoughtful lady and had a lot of faith in God. Her life was not easy, but she always seemed to have a positive outlook. She had an excellent mind right to the end. I made her a prayer shawl and she cherished it. I will miss you, Winnie.

    – Diane and Jim Kenney

  3. I understand this is a difficult time for you, please know my thoughts are with you and your family. I want to share this hope of God’s promise of a resurrection. I found this scripture to be comforting to me. Maybe you will too? John Chapter 5 Verses 28 and 29, says, Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out. Those who did good things to a resurrection of life. Winnie’s faith in God shows she valued the promises recorded in the Bible. Please let your memories and friends be a comfort to you now.

    – Ernestine

  4. We are so sad to learn of Winnie’s passing. She was always so nice to us and helped our mother so much when we were younger. I am thankful that we were able to see her recently. Rest in peace. You will be missed! Joe, Michelle, Amanda and Makayla
