Ernestine M. Golden

SOUTH PORTLAND - Ernestine M. Golden, 68, of South Portland died February 7, 2013 at the Hawthorne House in Freeport. She was born in Portland a daughter of Earl and Evelyn Rogers Couch. Ernestine attended local schools and was a 1963 graduate of South Portland High School. She loved meeting people and enjoyed working for Lectures and later for Linens N Things. Ernestine enjoyed dancing, watching old movies, and walking for exercise. She is survived by three daughters, Ann DeRice of Pembroke, MA, Tracy Golden of New York City and Beth Golden of South Portland; three sisters, Earlene Williams of South Portland, Beatrice Corey of South Portland, Vickie Couch of Lewiston; a brother Dennis Couch of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Brittany, Hannah, Meghan, and Tyler; a great grandson, Noah.
