  1. To the family and friends of Dan Gacetta, the members of the Maine Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association wish to express our sincere sympathy for your loss. Dan was a loyal contributor to the MIAAA and for many, many years was an attendee at our spring conference in order to present the Maine Hall of Fame Award to a retired member of the MIAAA. God bless you Dan.

    – Martin Ryan, MIAAA Executive Director

  2. My parents , Peter and Mary Rogers, and siblings send our condolences on the loss of your father, we enjoyed knowing him over the years and always enjoyed his visits to our home.

    – Kerrin Rogers Dorne

  3. Dan and family — sincere regrets and sympathy at the loss of your father — I just learned of his passing late this morning — my good fortune in coming to Maine as GM of Cumberland County Civic Center from its opening year of 1977 through much of 1983 allowed me the pleasure of meeting many good people and making some very special friends — none was more of a friend than Dan, and likely that’s why we visited and kept in touch over so many years after we eventually returned to Boston — I clearly recall how proud he was of you — my prayers are with you — Jack Nicholson and Family, Auburn Mass

    – Jack Nicholson
